1
How do I set up my Vital2Doc doctor account?
Clinic accounts are created by the Vital2Doc team clinics cannot self-register. To get started, contact us at clinics@vital2doc.com. Once we set up your clinic account, you will receive your clinic credentials by email. Your clinic staff or doctor can then use those credentials to log in to the Vital2Doc iPad app and set up their doctor profile.

Is my patient data encrypted? Security
Yes. All messages use end-to-end AES-256-GCM encryption with ECDH P-256 key exchange only you and your patient can read them. Medical documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are fully HIPAA compliant and never share patient data with third parties.
3
How does Vital2Doc connect with DrPulse? Features
Vital2Doc and DrPulse share a secure patient assignment system. When a patient accepts a doctor's consent request in DrPulse, their vital sign readings become accessible to that doctor in Vital2Doc. The connection is consent-based patients can revoke access at any time from their DrPulse app.
4
What types of documents can I receive from patients? Features
Patients can upload and share PDFs, images (JPG/PNG), and medical records. Vital2Doc automatically categorises documents as prescriptions, lab results, imaging reports, or general records. All uploads are scanned and encrypted before storage.
5
Can I manage multiple patients at once?
Yes. Your patient list shows all accepted assignments with real-time status indicators. You can view each patient's timeline, vital signs, documents, and chat history independently. Filters and search help you find patients quickly across your full roster.
6
What happens if I lose my phone? Security
Contact us immediately at support@vital2doc.com. We can remotely revoke your session tokens, invalidating access from the lost device. Your data remains encrypted on our servers without your credentials, it cannot be accessed. We recommend enabling Face ID / Touch ID as an additional security layer.
7
How do I send a consent request to a patient? Features
In the Patients tab, tap the "+" button and enter the patient's DrPulse ID or registered email. A consent request notification is sent to their DrPulse app. Once they accept, the assignment becomes active and their data becomes visible to you in Vital2Doc.
8
Which devices and iOS versions are supported? Device
Vital2Doc is an iPadOS app for doctors, it requires iPadOS 16 or later and is optimised for iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini (4th generation or newer). DrPulse, the patient-facing companion app, runs on iPhone and requires iOS 16 or later. DrPulse pairs with a Bluetooth BLE blood pressure monitor to capture and stream vitals to the doctor's Vital2Doc dashboard.
9
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen tap "Forgot Password," enter your registered email, and check your inbox for a secure reset link (valid for 30 minutes). If you don't see the email, check your spam folder or contact support@vital2doc.com for a manual reset.
